Assignment for Video for New Media: Find a Missed Connection on Craigslist and create a series of still photographs (10 Photos MIN/MAX) which visually depicts this micro story. Create a video composed completely from these stills.

Having been a recipient of a Craigslist Missed Connection myself, I know how twisted reality can get when people feel they have missed their chance on someone special. Words get misconstrued, looks are perceived the wrong way, perhaps genitalia gets accidentally exposed here or there. I attempted to portray the awkwardness of such chance encounters and filter the happy anonymity of the internet with this series of ten photos..
I, for one, am not quite so titillated by an ambiguous encounter in an Applebee’s Restroom. But where there’s doubt, there’s Craigslist. And some fairy tales do come true — my Craigslist stalker, for example, is now happily following me on twitter ever after. The end.
